Dear Parents,

Over the course of the past few months since Purim, the school administration has been busy at work partnering with parents to provide a robust and excellent “distance learning” solution for your children.

However, the new program comes with tremendous financial challenges, such as the purchase of 130 tablets, technology licensing, staff training, maintaining a secure cloud-based storage solution, and procuring three staff members dedicated to implementing and servicing the new technology. In addition, to make life easier on families, we arranged 1400 meals for children under the age of eighteen.

We realize that this period is most challenging, and that we all have limited spare time. But with the help and support of our dedicated parents, we have rallied through many difficult moments to make our school the success story that it is today.

To address the school’s situation in adjusting to our new future with its technological and financial needs, we are excited to announce that our Pledje 33-hour matching campaign will now take place on Tuesday, June 2 and Wednesday, June 3.

We realize that many families are stressed with their roles in running a home school and with keeping their children busy and engaged on a daily basis. We cannot adequately express our thanks to families who can help in any way to make this campaign a success.

As a token of appreciation

We will grant you a 3% commission on all solicitations of family and friends in the form of a direct tuition credit to your 2020 tuition. And with a minimal donation of $75, donors will be registered in a raffle to win our technology package.

Here is how you can help:

  • Set up a campaign page at: http://tiny.cc/phds for your family with a goal to donate or solicit funds. Please join us even if your goal is for a minimal amount, as we would like to have 100% participation of our parent body.
  • Use email or social media to reach out to family and friends via the marketing package that will be provided for you.
  • Volunteer to make phone calls – and help make this campaign a winner! Mrs. Schachter and Ms. Avigayil Rauch will send you a list with the guidelines for solicitation.

We look forward to getting together on Zoom at 8:30 p.m. for the last half hour of the event to celebrate its climax B”H. We are deeply grateful for your partnership in making this event a phenomenal success.

Thank you again,
Rabbi Peretz Scheinerman
